Then on to Scotland newest attraction and the largest equine sculptures in the world The Kelpies. We will bring you up close to these magnificent horses – which will be your favourite?
Then it’s on to The Falkirk Wheel – The rotating boat lift that connects the Union Canal with the Forth & Clyde. A must see for everyone, not just the engineers in the group! We will stop here for some refreshments.*
Then it’s back to the past with a stop off at Callendar House, originally a 14th-century tower house but it was redesigned into a wonderful example of a French Renaissance château with flavours of Scottish baronial architecture.
Our final stop is a visit to Bo’ness Heritage Railway, which Outlander fans will recognise as where Claire and Frank said their wartime goodbyes.
Then we will return you to Linlithgow where you can avail of the fine shops and restaurants or perhaps a walk around the loch!
