As part of the John Muir Festival and Homecoming 2014, Mary’s Meanders is offering a photographic tour of the natural surroundings of Linlithgow. The loch and its surroundings provide many photographic opportunities and the emphasis will be on natural Linlithgow.
We have developed a series of sessions that will show you what to look for in taking photographs of the natural world and the common mistakes to avoid.
By the end of the walk you will have produced a collection of images that will tell the story of your part in the John Muir Festival and hopefully with a refreshed perspective.
Support and discussions with the guide will take place throughout the walk.
This will suit beginner and intermediate photographers who have a DSLR, bridge camera or good quality compact. Ideal lens will be 18-55 or equivalent.
Smart phones are not acceptable on this tour.
The tour will last approximately 2 ½ hours (10:00 am till 12:30) and will cost £35/per person – maximum 12 people. You can book your tickets today here.
