Outlaw King Trailer is here!

August 21, 2018 By //  by Mary's Meanders Team

Yesterday Netflix released the trailer for the soon to be released “the untold true story” of Robert the Bruce, Outlaw King.

We eagerly watched the trailer hoping to see locations that we know and we weren’t disappointed. There are quite a few that we visit regularly on our Outlander tours.

We were lucky to be able to walk around the set when they were filming here in Linlithgow. Sadly we didn’t get a chance to meet Chris Pine himself but we talked with other crew members and we could tell they were excited to be a part of such a big production.

Doesn’t Linlithgow Loch look stunning??

Have a look at the trailer and see how many locations you recognise.

The trailer was trending not long after it was released which reconfirms there is a real interest in historical productions at the moment. The recent release of the Mary Queen of Scots trailer also had a very positive response.

The film will have its premiere at the Toronto Film Festival, we will have to just wait until November 9th.
