We recognise that you may have questions regarding the impact of Coronavirus / COVID-19 with regards to existing and future bookings with us.
We recommend you:
- Check with your airline and travel insurance provider about potential changes in services;
- Read the guidance provided by WHO;
- Check the advice for your destination from official government sources before you travel;
- Follow all current guidance to minimise the spread of the virus
Should I cancel or postpone my tour?
We want to be clear and transparent, so that you know exactly where you stand if you have booked a tour with us.
If your day and/or multi-day tour departs within 8 weeks then please get in touch so we can talk over the options with you. Call Emma on UK +44 (0)781 868 7066 or email tours@marysmeanders.co.uk
Based upon the current position locally and relevant
advice from UK and other governments, there are two options available
- Postpone
Your Trip (identical trip different date)
This applies to those that are booked to travel with us on departures starting within 8 weeks.
If you are no longer able to come on your tour we will do all that we can to reschedule it later. Speak to us to see what options are available for a later date. This may result in additional charges depending on the new arrangements we agree with you and any unrecoverable costs we’ve already incurred. Deposits remain non-refundable.
For trips that we have agreed to postpone, we treat this as agreeing a new contract with Mary’s Meanders and the terms and conditions apply from the date at which the postponement is agreed.
- Cancellation
If you do need to cancel, please email us and we will discuss refund or credit voucher options.
For tours MORE
THAN 8 WEEKS AWAY, if you are able to delay making a decision
closer to your departure date as your tour is later in the season, please
consider that as we will have a clearer understanding of situation then.
If your trip departs within the next 8 weeks, then let us help you decide which
option is best for you. To do this call Emma on UK +44 (0)781 868 7066 or email tours@marysmeanders.co.uk

Insurance
As always adequate travel insurance which covers your specific needs, including any known medical conditions or activities you plan to do.
It is also worth checking the detail of the policy around travel disruption including delays or cancellations as policies do vary.
The Association of British Insurers has a Q & A that is more relevant for travellers from the UK but raises useful questions to put to your own insurer.
