Join Graeme & Arran as they bring you you historic tales of sadness, ghosts and momentous events in history, stretching back over 800 years all from the historic village of Torphichen, in the Bathgate Hills just outside Linlithgow. From William Wallace and Culloden to World wars and plagues, body snatchers and advances in modern medicine, it’s all there. And you will enjoy some beautifully shot footage of the ancient Torphichen Preceptory, built in the 1100’s, and the surrounding historic graveyard. Thank you to the Torphichen AmDram for collaborating with Mary’s Meanders. If you think you recognise the narrator, it is Graeme the piper who welcomes our groups to the Scottish Dinner show in the village pub.
If you have enjoyed this video and would like to send a donation to Torphichen AmDram & Mary’s Meanders, it will be greatly appreciated.
