We are very proud to be based in the historic Royal Burgh of Linlithgow, a vibrant community which celebrates old traditions and introduces new events such as Party at the Palace and the new Beecraigs winter festival. It’s a wonderful place to bring up a family and we have been actively involved in organisations around the town for over 20yrs.
We encourage and promote tourism in Linlithgow and the surrounding area and these are just a few of the initiatives we are involved with:

Pride & Passion, Linlithgow – the organisation to co-ordinate and promote tourism in the town. Producing visitor leaflets and until recently running the town website – now under the banner of The Linlithgow Community Development Trust (LCDT)
Visit West Lothian – Board member. Driving tourism strategy in the wider area
Linlithgow Museum – we love this new museum and are proud sponsors, volunteer and attendees at the amazing series of talks.
Doors Open Day– we are more than happy to take the time to deliver free walking tours of Linlithgow for Doors Open Day.
We are also happy to give talks to Community groups and schools and enjoy the reaction when we bring along some film props (especially our severed head)
We support local businesses and have given talks on the “Outlander Effect” and co-ordinated themed events such as our Month of Mary, where shops decorated their windows and restaurants produced Mary, Queen of Scots themed menus.
We love the buzz around all the various events that take place in the town and our families have been involved in some capacity in most things over the years. The Marches, Gala Day, Advent Fayre to name just a few.
We are more than happy to represent Linlithgow at Trade Shows and conferences and our commitment to promoting the area was recognised by Visit Scotland with a Thistle award for Regional Ambassador.
But most of all, we just love showing off our wonderful area, and giving back as much as we can to the community we now call home. We were delighted to receive another Thistle Award for Hospitality Hero for the welcome we give our guests – just for doing what we love.
